Shaders use the visitor’s graphics card rather than rendering on your server. They still use JavaScript, GPU resources and battery. Use a few animated backgrounds, lower quality or a static mobile fallback when appropriate.
The static fallback colour you choose. Animation needs HTTPS and a compatible WebGPU browser, GPU and driver. The layout and content remain usable.
Elementor and supported Gutenberg blocks have built-in controls. Other builders with a CSS class field can apply backgrounds using that class. Their editor previews may not animate.
Cancelling stops the next automatic annual payment. Your licence stays active through the paid term. The current EULA describes paid-feature blocking after expiry; consult the linked terms for the applicable conditions.

No. It is a one-time licence purchase with no recurring renewal charge. Software availability and maintenance remain subject to the EULA.
